2019 Winners  -   Lynton Lords

The Hurst Bowls & Beer Festival

This is a bowls competition for teams of three novice bowlers, the teams  are from other sports backgrounds, family teams and groups of friends, playing against each other.

Teams can be same sex or mixed. More than three people can be registered for a team but the same three team members must play a match.  Each team will play two matches lasting about an hour. Experienced club members will be on the green to give help/guidance to teams, if they need it, and to umpire the matches.

The Festival  took place for the first time in 2017.  The 2019 Festival took place on Sunday 8 September and was a great success, as can be seen from the photographs below.

The purpose of the Festival is to introduce more people to bowls in a relaxed environment.
